Madeline the vampire

This week we were told to do three tasks reading,writing an maths i chose reading because it seemed very fun to do.I red a story Madeline the vampire she is a nice vampire and saves the day for everyone. This story was fun and mesmerising to read. The book felt good and amazing for me to read because it had a complication and a resolution. Here is my work.

   

   

We  had to choose an activity from a grid and i chose Use google drawings to create a portrait of a main character from your story. Then use thinglink to add interesting information. Google drawings tips and tricks video. Next time i would work on punctuation for my work .

Mindfulness

Bula everyone

Today we did a 10 minute mindfulness activity where everyone gets to choose Something calm to do. The hole class has to be silent through the hole 10 minutes.When you something silent you have  to try and be calm thinking hard about feelings you might even  day  dream while your at it

Such as 

• Listening to music
• Drawing 
• Colouring
• Quiet reading
• board games

We do this to get us ready for learning.
we also do this to calm us before anything we do.

This is what we do for mindfulness and this is mindfulness.

Kowhaiwhai patterns 

Today we are doing a blog post about our Kowhaiwhai patterns . Kowhaiwhai patterns are beautiful    patterns that appear as painted scroll designs .We  had lots of big and small papers  with things written in it the words were Aroha means love , Whakapono means faith and trust, Tomanaako means hope . Class environment

Today we were told to finish off our class environment slide. We had to write negatives, positives and What now. For positives, we had to write what we are doing good in class for negatives we had to write what we are doing wrong in class for what now we had to write how to solve the problems of negatives. here is my work.
