Learning to Write a perfect email

Perfect emails

Today we learnt how to make the perfect email. So we had to write an email to our teacher and one of our parents.Something we had to write down in our emails is we had to write paragraphs and have good punctuation. Here is some things you need to make a perfect email.

• Greeting.
• check in -  check in with how they are doing.
• body - what and why you are emailing the person.
• And the ending like sincerely

Hello and Goodbyes

Last week we told to make an google doc and write down some  Hello's and Goodbyes in it. Hellos and goodbyes are like this" Hello to School " Goodbye to online school" its like that. Today i am going to be showing my lock down word art. We were told to make a word art and put some enjoyable words in their like what we did during the lock down. We had to put like some words like what learning we did in the lock down and what type we also had to put in words like what did you do for fun in lock down and we also had to put in some keywords that we really important to us. Pandemic

    The Deadly flu 1918

This week we were reading a journal article it was called Pandemic. This article was talking about the massive flu from 1918 It was a tragic year this article was all about the virus. So what we had to do we had to read the hole story about the pandemic then we had to make a blog post about it. Here are some facts about the pandemic

• 50 million people died in the pandemic  because of the flu
• The flu was called influenza.
• In 1918 when the flu was going at that exacted same time the first world war was going on soldiers had been brought together from all over the world.
•  The pandemic originated in Spain no one believes the so called Spanish flu.
• The 1918 flu spread rapidly, killing 25 million people in just the first six months.
• The virus killed most people who were infected with it

This week we were set on 3 tasks we had to do Math,Writing and reading we had to do our activities then we had to do a DLO about it then we had to post it in our blogs. I have already finished the maths work and the reading i just had to do the reading DLO. Reading activity

Clark the shark

This week we were set on a reading task like every week. For out reading activity we had to read a story then answer question in the boxes in the slide after we done that then we do the activity's beside the boxes like we had to create a flowchart,biteable video and map that we had to do that says where our setting was in the story. The Author of my story was Bruce hale and the illustrator of my story is Guy Francis. I really enjoyed this book because it teaches us a lesson and it's really fun to read like really fun i recommend you should read or  listen to this story because it is amazing.Here is my work that i did.

Math task

Interpreting Graphs

This week our maths work was interpreting graphs so interpreting graphs is like all sorts of graphs like line graph.dot,graphs bar graphs and more. So what we had to do is we had a PDF that had all the questions in it and we had to answer it in the interpreting graphs slide that our lovely teacher send us. I also did my work in another way on another slide.Here is my work

This week we were set on another task for writing we had to open a google doc and look back at slide 3 and write down the resolution,complication,sequence of events and orientation of our story we were told to write down at least more than 3 sentences. Here is a link to my work

I really enjoyed this activity the part that i enjoyed were the activity's i did on the slide of my writing work and writing down my resolution,orientation,sequence of events and complication.

Measurements

This week  for maths there were three options we had to choose beginner, medium and expert. For beginner we had to watch the videos and do the exercises for medium they had to do the exercises and complete the tasks and last but not least expert for expert we had to do the exercises and complete the tasks in the challenge . I chose beginner because it seemed very quite suitable for me but medium and expert were not . Here is a link to my work

This week we were set 3 task maths, writing and reading i decided to do reading first because it was very easy.For our reading activity we had to choose a story to read then complete a activity. My story  was based on a  girl that goes to fiji and has trouble with her phone and the activity i chose to do for this story was to pick 20 key words form the story make a word cloud and make a screencastify talking about why i chose the words.  here is my screencastify.
