Pandemic

    The Deadly flu 1918

This week we were reading a journal article it was called Pandemic. This article was talking about the massive flu from 1918 It was a tragic year this article was all about the virus. So what we had to do we had to read the hole story about the pandemic then we had to make a blog post about it. Here are some facts about the pandemic



  • 50 million people died in the pandemic  because of the flu
  • The flu was called influenza.
  • In 1918 when the flu was going at that exacted same time the first world war was going on soldiers had been brought together from all over the world.
  •  The pandemic originated in Spain no one believes the so called Spanish flu.
  • The 1918 flu spread rapidly, killing 25 million people in just the first six months.
  • The virus killed most people who were infected with it
